 This wearable sculpture, comprised of a corset and an attached womb, comments on patriarchal society’s oppression of women, and the brave women facing this unfair and harmful system. The dark and and dirty exterior which represents damage and harm done to mothers contrasts sharply with the interior, vibrantly colored to show the resilience of mothers, who maintain a safe and wholesome environment for their children.
